To post on this blog, all you have to do is e-mail your story with Pictures attached, to:

and we will do the rest. While compiling your matter, keep the following in mind:

- Please be considerate about space and language.

- This is a space to remember the departed and not to give vent to the pent up rage that we all feel towards the perpetrators. It is a request to the authors and visitors who want to leave comments behind, to please not use inflammatory or abusive language. Respect for the lost lives should be your foremost concern.

- Please attach pictures which are less than 200 KB in size and limit the number of pictures to maximum 2. If you want to add captions to the pictures, add the captions in the text mentioning appropriate file name of the pictures.

- Please limit your text within a 1000 words.

- Please mention personal details of the departed, like name and year of birth and death.

- Please mention the details of the violence, faced by the departed, which led to his/her demise, e.g. hate crime/terrorist attack, geographical location of violence, cause of hate crime (racial, religious, sexuality etc.)/mode of terrorist attack (bombing, shoot out etc.) You can also add links to media reports, if any, of the violence in context.

- You can also mention discriminatory laws which are practiced in your nation and which fuels hate crimes leading to loss of innocent lives.

- You can also post information about organizations in your locality which are trying to combat hate crimes and help the victims.

- And to end it all, please do not forget to mention your name/names and mention your relation/s to the departed. Anonymous e-mails will not be published on this blog.
